About of Goshala

Shree Samrajyalakshmi Temple Goshala is a sacred sanctuary dedicated to the protection, care, and preservation of indigenous Indian cows, reflecting the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma. Located within the serene surroundings of Tonachagondanahalli, our Goshala provides rescued, abandoned, and elderly cows with a safe, peaceful, and nurturing environment where they receive nutritious food, clean water, comfortable shelter, and compassionate care. Every cow is treated with reverence as Gomata, embodying the divine spirit of selfless service, compassion, and gratitude.

Beyond providing shelter, our Goshala is committed to preserving native cow breeds, promoting sustainable agriculture through organic farming and cow-based natural products, and creating awareness about the spiritual, cultural, and ecological significance of cow protection. Through community participation, seva initiatives, and generous contributions from devotees, we strive to ensure that every cow lives a healthy, dignified, and protected life while inspiring future generations to uphold the sacred tradition of Go Seva, where serving cows is regarded as serving humanity and the Divine.
